Catherine Tate

CatherineCatherine Jane Ford (born 5 December 1969) popularly referred to as Catherine Tate, is an English actress, comedian and writer. She has been nominated seven times for the BAFTAs, an International Emmy Award, and many other accolades for her work in BBC sketch comedy show The Catherine Tate Show (2004)-2007. Tate was Donna Noble in the 2006 Christmas special episode of Doctor Who, and later was cast in the same role as the Tenth Doctor's regular companion in the fourth series in the year 2008. [2] Following the success of The Catherine Tate Show, Tate was a part of Joanie Taylor ("Nan") in the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015) as well as in the movie The Nan Movie (2022). She first appeared as Nellie Bertram, a recurring character in The Office's U.S. version, in 2011. The character remained a regular character until the conclusion of the show. [3] She played the role of Miss Sarah Postern (2013-2014), and Magica de Spell (2017-2021) in the BBC One sitcom Big School.
