Sharon Yvonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, in Meadville (Pennsylvania) was her mother's Dorothy Lawson, a former employee at a factory and Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone is a gifted student when she was an infant, started her second grade education at the age of five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she graduated in 1975. She also competed in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to pursue a modeling career after signing at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. After a year spent living in Milan and Paris, Stone moved to Europe. But, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling and modeling in Europe which led her to go into acting in Europe while she was there. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" which received mixed praises.
