Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was raised in an ethnically diverse family. Her mother and father have both been English. She went to The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. She was a student at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with a BA in acting. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe launched her acting career through the film Storm Damage. Over the past few years she has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe scored her first motion-picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. The film's success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in the six-episode series Trexx & Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role on ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also the title character in How to lose friends & betray people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment in the year 2008. She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path, composed by David Watson.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for the duration of two weeks The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was confirmed in May 2013. Following two seasons as a main character, she was a guest in the first episode of season 3. She was Tituba in the series Salem between 2014 and. Madekwe married her long-time lover, Iddo. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was a character on the TV series Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her four older brothers were present as well: twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. All of her brothers were athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey during the winter as well as in the summer. Her childhood was spent in the arenas and baseball. Ashley could not walk but could dance. This led to the fact that as she grew older She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley fell in love with dance at this age. When she was in high school, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip hop. Additionally, she was awarded the top awards for soloists in every major dance contests, like the International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
