Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a family of mixed blood. Her mother and father were both English. Her family was raised in the south of a London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was awarded. While at the academy, she performed in numerous stage productions such as The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career began with Storm Damage. The actress has been guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Her popularity resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in six episodes Trexx & Flipside as Ollie. She played Bambi in The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also appeared on the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). Her credits in the theatre include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe had her official US debut on the Drama series The Beautiful Life, which was only broadcast in the US on The CW before being cancelled. She was cast in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. After being a regular for the initial two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to depart the series following her appearance on the premiere episode of the third season. She played Tituba in the show Salem between 2014 and. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for the Gemini Award, hails from an extensive Hamilton family. Her parents Roy and Patty and the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball in summers and played hockey in the winter months. Ashley did not walk; instead, she was a dancer. In the age of two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. It was then that she discovered Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley participated in the top divisions in jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed from high school. Ashley took home the best soloist honor at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among some.
