Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into the family of South London. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss and her mother is English. She was raised on the south London Council Estate. She attended The Brit School aged 14. She was a student of acting in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. During her time at the academy, she performed in numerous stage productions, including The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. In the years since, she's been a guest star for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer was the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. She then was the lead in Elisha on the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in the six episodes in the series Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi who was the leading character in ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred as the lead character in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy released in 2008. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport on ABC's drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for the duration of two weeks The CW and then it was cancelled. In February of 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After being a regular for the initial two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe would leave the show after her appearance on the first episode from the 3rd season. She starred as Tituba in the television series Salem between 2014 and the year 2016. Madekwe married her long-time love, Iddo. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as partners in Salem.
Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for a Gemini Award, is a member of a large Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob.
