Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in an ethnically mixed family. Her father is Nigerian Swiss as is her mom who's English. She went to The Brit School when she was 14. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received an acting BA. She appeared in many performances on stage during her school days, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career began with Storm Damage. She has appeared as a guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. The following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. In 2008, she had the opportunity to play the part in the role of Bambi on the ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in episodes two and three. Madekwe also played the main character on How to lose friends & make people feel alienated and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just two weeks on The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series on ABC Revenge for two seasons. It was revealed in May 2013 that she was set to be leaving the series following an appearance in the initial season of the third. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem from 2014 until the year 2016. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for the Gemini Award, hails from the large Hamilton family. She was raised by the parents Roy and Patty together with four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's sports brothers played baseball in summer as well as hockey in winter. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She danced. So when she was 2 and a 1/2, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley was addicted to dance from that moment. Ashley continued to dance competitively throughout high school in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and more. All of the important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the honor of "top individualist".
