Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in a mixed ethnic family. Her mother and father have both been English. She attended The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was earned. The stage she appeared in was many productions while attending school including the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. Over the past few years, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Her popularity resulted in her being cast as Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. Also, the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe starred as the lead character in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy that was released in 2008. Her credits in the theatre include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 when she appeared on her dramatic The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before it was cancelled on The CW. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. After being a regular for the first two seasons, it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe would leave the show after her appearance on the pilot episode in the season's third. The actress portrayed Tituba in the TV show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he is also a part of the cast in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty and her other siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletes, play in the summer months and play hockey during winter. Ashley never actually walked -she did dance, so at age two and a half she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley became a dancer immediately. When she was in High School, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip hop. She won the top soloist awards at all of the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
