Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multicultural family. She was born within South London. Both her parents were both English. She was born and raised on a council estate south of London. When she was 14, she attended The Brit School. She earned her BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While attending the school, she was a part-time actor in a number of stage productions such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy made in the year 2008. The credits she has in her theatre work are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 when she appeared on her dramatic The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes prior to being removed from The CW. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen for her as Ashley Davenport. In May of 2013, it was announced that Madekwe who had been a series regular in the previous two seasons had decided to quit the show following a guest appearance in the premier episode of the season's new episode. Madekwe starred as Tituba on the show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. Alongside Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared in tandem on Salem and he had part in the show with her. that show.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into a big family. She was born to Patty and Roy Leggat. Her parents Roy and Patty along with her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball in summer as well as hockey in winter. Ashley was not a walker, but she would dance. At age two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing when she began the Baby Ballet. Ashley competed in ballet, tap and jazz in high divisions. Ashley was awarded the best soloist awards at all of the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
