Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was in South London. She's English, and her father is Nigerian. She grew in an estate in South London council estate and at the age of fourteen, she attended The Brit School. She went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an BA in acting. She appeared on stage in several productions as a student like the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. Following this acclaim, she was cast as Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured in six episodes Trexx and Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe made an appearance in the 2008 Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. She was also in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport on the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just the duration of two weeks The CW and then it came to an end. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was in the episodes of the series' first two seasons as an regular. However, in May of 2013, word broke that the actress would leave the show after her guest appearance in the first episode of the series' third season. The actress portrayed Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 until the year 2016. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. They worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her parents Roy and Patty, as well as her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley's athletic brothers played baseball in summer and hockey in the winter. Ashley was not a walker, but she was a dancer. In the age of two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley continued to dance competitively throughout high school with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop and many more. Top soloists at important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
