Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multi-cultural family. She was born in South London. Her father and mother are both English. She grew up in a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained a BA degree in acting. While at the academy, she performed in numerous stage productions such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. In the wake of that film's success she was cast as Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside playing Ollie. She also landed the part in the role of Bambi in the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in series two and three. Madekwe also starred as the main character on How to lose friends & betray people and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment in the year 2008. A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes at The CW, and was then ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series of Revenge on ABC in two episodes. The show was announced in May 2013 that she'd be leaving the series following one guest appearance on the first series of the 3rd. She starred as Tituba in the television series Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They collaborated in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. The four brothers she had were present as well and included twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball fields because the four brothers who were athletic were hockey players, baseball players, and basketball in winter and summer. Ashley didn't walk, instead she was a dancer. When she was two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing after she started Baby Ballet. After graduating from high school, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in tap, jazz, ballet pointe, acrobatics lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. All of the important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the title "top individualist".
