Candice King Candice King, an American actor, became famous in the role of Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Candice King began her acting career during the early 1990s as a musician. Her first album was released, 'It's Always The Innocent in the United States', in 2009. She wrote twelve of the 14 tracks on the album. Simultaneously she worked on her acting career, as well as acting as a guest on a couple of shows including How I Met Your Mother and Greek. Although her acting career was steady the big breakthrough eluded her until she was cast as a character on the CW series The Vampire Diaries. It was the first show to make her household name. Candice was praised by her extraordinary acting talents and brilliant performances. The actress played the exact same role in all eight seasons, which lasted 171 episode. The actress also played her role in the spin-off series The Originals in 2018 and Legacies in 2021.
